Documents for suppliers
Documents for manufacturers and suppliers by trade. Insulation and tapered wedges, anchoring, fall protection system, green roof and pitched roof. Where to find them and what they contain.
Where to find the documents
- In the project cockpit, open the
Protocolstab. - Scroll down to the
Documents for supplierspart. - For a project with several roofs, choose the roof with the
Roofswitch. - The cards are by trade. Only the ones that apply to the selected roof are shown.
Each file has a download button; a PDF supplier document has Preview and PDF. A file that cannot be created yet appears on the card as a sentence with the reason, for example “The documents are created once the slopes of this roof are calculated.”
What the documents contain and what they do not
- The documents are for manufacturers and suppliers, so they do not include the client's details or contacts.
- They do not state prices.
- The drain manufacturer and type are not in the documents.
- The anchoring document does not name the anchor manufacturer. The output is the clamping lengths of the anchors; the component lengths (telescope, screw) are determined by the anchor manufacturer.
Thermal insulation and tapered wedges
The card is available for a flat roof with a calculated slope design. It offers:
Supplier document PDF – insulation and slope wedges,Overview for ordering and quotation (CSV),Wedge plan (PNG)andCut list and order (CSV),Substrate board plan (PNG), if the roof has substrate boards,Cricket height templates for hot-wire cutting (CSV, informative), if the roof has crickets at obstacles.
The card says whether the calculation is up to date and whether the design is ready for construction. If it is not, both the card and the document say: “Design needs further work: the documents are not intended for construction.”
- A roof without tapered wedges (for example a hall with a sloped deck) has no wedge production documents. It offers the PDF supplier document.
- The Site drawing is created from a released revision of this document: a large-format print and a link with a QR code.
- The same card also has the drawing for CAD,
DXF for CAD. See the guide DXF export.
Anchoring
Supplier document PDF – anchoring,Overview for ordering and quotation (CSV)andAnchoring plan (CSV).- If you took over the anchoring zones from an external assessment, there is also
Anchoring plan from the external assessment (CSV). - Until the anchoring is calculated, the card says “Calculate the anchoring first.”
Fall protection system
Supplier document PDF – fall protection system,Overview for ordering and quotation (CSV)andFall protection design (print preview).- The document is only offered for a design that has passed the check. Otherwise the card gives the reason, for example “The design has not been validated yet. Run the validation in the fall protection editor in the Evaluation step.”
- The document lists only generic components from the design. The specific system is chosen and confirmed by the supplier.
Green roof
Supplier document PDF – green roofandOverview for ordering and quotation (CSV).- The document is created once a green roof build-up has been set up for the roof. If the green roof check blocks issuing, the document states no numbers and says why.
Pitched roof
Bill of materials (CSV),Sheet cut list (CSV)andWorkshop PDF (sheet pieces, battens).- The files are created once you save the roof, the covering and its schedule. More in the guide Covering and sheet-metal schedule.
Facade
Cutting plan (CSV): the panel pieces to be cut. It is created once you lay out the facade panels. More in the guide Cutting plan.
All roofs and released revisions
- For a project with several roofs, the card also offers an
All roofsblock with a PDF supplier document for the whole project. - The PDF supplier documents for insulation and wedges, anchoring, fall protection system and green roof can be released as revisions:
Release revisiondirectly on the card. They have their own numbering, independent of the complete protocol. The procedure is described in the guide Released revisions. - Neither the pitched roof bill of materials nor the CSV lists are released as revisions.
Send the supplier the released revision, not the working version. A released revision does not change when the project is edited later.
